Camp Activities:
Rock
Climbing
A focus on climbing
fundamentals such as knot-tying, rappelling, and proper climbing
technique will give your child a strong base to build on for years
to come. Our trained instructors will keep the children having
fun while teaching them the essentials of the sport.
Sessions 1,2

Mountain Biking
This course will help
your child excel in mountain biking regardless of their current
skill level. They'll progress from basics on shifting and
breaking to learning how to get over obstacles, handle ascents and
descents, and how to fall safely.
All sessions
Team Building
Outdoor activities tend
to be more individually driven and team building exercises help
remind children to take responsibility for the well-being of those
around them.
All sessions
Paddling
Children will
experience the thrill of paddling on the open waters of Lake Murray
or the scenic passages of the Broad River.
Our experienced instructors will teach stroke and steering
techniques, along with other basic paddling skills.
All sessions
Arts and Crafts
Children will learn to
think outside the box as they use natural materials to create
magnificent works of art.
All sessions
Outdoor Education
Children will
participate in mini-lessons on first aid, wildlife, trees,
wilderness survival, and orienteering. The knowledge gained in
each of these lessons will be incorporated into the day's
activities.
All sessions
Hiking
Along the hiking trail
the children will get the opportunity to connect with their natural
surroundings. With the use of binoculars, they will search for
wildlife and identify trees. Compasses and maps will help them
find their way on the trail.
